Dog Walking Services

Available Monday to Friday 

930am-4pm 

• Upon signing up your time is subject to change. As we organize the day based on location. 
• We might not arrive exactly on time. Due to the nature of the service there could be factors that may have us early or late for your session.
• Service to condo's may be limited based on parking options, and/or access (fob is required).

Depends. Many people have various options to allow us entry into their home. We can discuss your options regarding how best to set up this service for you in the event you are not home during the day and time of your service. 

Private Walks are available to dogs after a behavioural evaluation is conducted. If we feel your dog is needing continued training support we may suggest our other walking services working toward graduating to our Private Walk services. 

Private Walks can be led by a certified trainer or a trainer in training.

Enrichment Sessions are dog led enrichment sessions. We figure out what your dog is good at and loves to do.. and lean into it. From things like, nose work, rally obedience and more formal sports, to parkour, trick training and such. Along with doing puzzles and brain games. We come with a bag of tricks and equipment to make these sessions a hit. Also, includes bio breaks like a general private walk service would.

Enrichment sessions are led by a certified trainer only.

Enrichment Sessions aren't training sessions with a specific behaviour modification goal, but rather assistive to your dogs overall wellbeing. Enrichment and exercise can be one part of the treatment plan, but there could be more foundational skill building required for your dog to best excel toward their training goals. In that case, check out our Day Training services. 

With that said, for dogs who are working toward behavioural goals or on management protocols these sessions can be a great option in cases where your dog might not be a fit just yet for our Private Walk services and need to remain under the care of a Certified Dog Trainer. We can maintain management and opportunistic behaviour modification support for puppies and for dogs experiencing fear/anxiety/aggression. 

Certainly! We will conduct a behavioural evaluation to discuss which service would be best for your dog. 

• Will my dog be outside for the entire 30 minutes? 
• What if my dog doesn't like being outside or the weather is bad? 
• How is this different from just general dog walking services?

Enrichment Sessions are dog led enrichment:

• We will be setting up activities for your dog that stimulates their mind and body, while building on their unique interests and strengths. 
• These activities may be conducted inside the home or outside the home. 
• We do allow your dog adequate time for basic needs though regarding food, water and washroom breaks.

As mentioned in the previous question regarding Enrichment sessions, the walk may or may not be conduct outside. Depending on the exercises we are going to be doing that day. 

Regarding Private Walks.. no matter the weather your dog will get 30 minutes of exercise. Some of this exercise might be conducted inside the home if the weather is not your dog's cup of tea (not to worry.. most weather is our cup of tea). 

Enrichment Sessions may move inside if it will lend better to the activities your dog enjoys doing.

For extreme weather warning days, we often will ask for cancellations and only conduct bio breaks for those needing it. These cancelations are to our discretion (late cancellation fees will be charged for those cancelling on their own, and not to our discretion). We will often conduct an extreme weather cancellation for days that are so severe that we are reducing our own risk to extreme weather conditions. These are charged at the same rate as your original service.

All walks/sessions include: bio breaks, water refill, and a meal (if needed) - and cuddles!

Private Walks:

• Sniffari excursions - for those dogs that love to sniff.
• Vigorous walking - for those dogs that like to hustle.
• Some parkouring, or other fun things that come along our way on the walk. 

Enrichment Sessions: 

• Does your dog like to play fetch. We may play around with teaching your dog how to retrieve an object and place it into a box. We may play around with a fun take it, leave it, drop it sequence game. 
• Dogs a big sniffer. We will set up various puzzle toys that involve snuffling and leading with their nose (scent work), or head outdoors for a sniffari and treat search in the grass. 
• Does your dog like to run and jump and spin. Perhaps we are teaching your dog to weave through our legs, or do parkour outside. 
• Ever tried introducing puzzle toys and your dog didn't know what to do. We could build your dogs confidence to explore behaviours like pawing, nose nudge and biting when problem solving a new puzzle. 

Day Training:

• Methodical practice of the homework objectives, actively chipping away at the incremental plans set forth in the coaching sessions.
• We break the sessions up with play/walk time. Some dogs do well with 5 mins on of training, and 3 mins of play. Some dogs do well with 10 mins of training, and 10 mins of play, then 10 mins of training. Every dog is different and we lean into their strength. 
• When possible we play around with implementing homework objectives into the play sessions.
